Winter Poetry for All

Come and join us for an afternoon of poetry on the season of winter. From medieval lyrics to Shakespeare to contemporary writers, we’ll bring some warmth into January with beautiful words. We’ll go skating with Wordsworth, look at winter trees with Sylvia Plath and ponder with Wallace Stevens ‘the nothing that is not there and the nothing that is’… and much more!

These poems will be read and introduced by Dr Malcolm Hebron. This is a chance to relax, reflect, and renew the spirit. Everyone is welcome.

Over that time, he published books on medieval and renaissance writing, literature and linguistics and wrote a guide on how to read poetry.
