The Songs of Bob Dylan with Tobias Ben Jacob and Isabel Inkcap

Tobias has been a Dylan fan since his teens and the first songs he learned to play on the guitar where some of Dylan’s timeless classics. Fast forward to 2021 and he was invited to play a set of Dylan songs at a German Ambassador’s party in Berlin; since then the idea slow-burned in his imagination to offer that set as a gig here in the UK.

Tobias met Isabel at Sidmouth FolkWeek and was instantly struck by the range and emotional depth of her singing. He was thrilled when she agreed to collaborate on a night celebrating these songs and this amazing, still growing legacy.

This evening will feature acoustic solo and duet performances, taking in a range of songs from across Dylan’s 60 year career, from well known hits to some bootlegs and rarities.

About the Musicians:

Isabel Inkcap is a young songwriter and folk artist who is ‘quickly cementing her presence as one of the more emotive and heartfelt names emerging this year’ (Luna Collective). 

Tobias Ben Jacob is a compelling singer-songwriter from Devon whose gigs are brimming with connection, humanity, lyrical depth and humour. He is widely known as one half of UK duo Jacob & Drinkwater – who recently played Exeter Phoenix in September 2023.
