As founding members of the British band Gomez, Ian Ball and Ben Ottewell have shaped the sound of indie rock with their eclectic blend of blues, rock, folk, electronic and experimental influences.

Gomez first made waves with their 1998 debut Bring It On, which won the Mercury Prize. Ian and Ben’s contrasting vocals and musical style became a defining feature of the band. They followed with the atmospheric Liquid Skin (1999) and the more experimental In Our Gun (2002), each expanding their musical reach.

The band continued to evolve with Split the Difference (2004), How We Operate (2006), A New Tide (2009), and their latest, Whatever’s On Your Mind (2011).

Both Ian and Ben have pursued successful solo careers, but their chemistry remains as strong as ever.

Ben and Ian will be joined by LA based singer songwriter and long term collaborator Buddy.
