Featuring…
SOOT SPRITE:
Indie shoegaze three-piece with influences such as Mannequin Pussy and Phoebe Bridgers. Their most recent EP Poltergeists came out in October and has received airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music.
“An honest and urgent upheaval of radiant, dreamy indie rock” – Atwood Magazine
“Their achingly poignant music is already winning them new audiences far and wide, and their relatability clearly resonates with new listeners and fans alike” – Maximum Volume Music
OKAY, BYE:
Pastel punks playing fierce feminist bangers. With multiple EU and UK tours under their belt and recently featured on BBC Radio, they’re not to be missed.
“Okay, Bye’s desire to power through problematic times is reflected in their strong DIY ethos and their playful, but thought-provoking tunes” – Get In Her Ears
“A sound as crisp as a double-socked frosty morning” – PRSD
SPITTING BLOOD:
Angry punk poets and local favourites, fronted by legendary Dave Growler.
SAFF JUNO:
With emotionally provoking lyrics and themes of self-love and mental health, Saff Juno’s music will transport anyone to a safe place where all feelings are celebrated.
JOSH DC & THE ANTI-HEROES:
Multi-instrumentalist songwriter Josh DC brings his Frankenstein genre of alt-rock to Phonic Fest.
THE ISSUES:
Scrappy indie punk for fans of Sports Team, The Chats, Arctic Monkeys and The Wombats. Having exploded onto the South West underground scene with their blistering live shows, raucous riffs and unmatched stage presence, get ready for a boogie, a singalong and a mosh!
MOYA SILK:
A little indie, a little grungey, a little dream pop. When she’s not playing bass for Southwest Hotel, Moya Silk (Jaz Pearce) invites you into her quaint world of guitar driven, fierce femme indie rock. Songs about feeling and being a human bean.
SVVIM:
Alt-pop singer-songwriter and one man band SVVIM will be at Phonic Fest. Described by BBC Introducing as “making music to the same calibre of Bon Iver”, SVVIM has steadily been releasing a series of incredible songs including his most recent singles Maps and Chemicals.
POPPYSHOW:
Jacob, Tommo, Greg and James are POPPYSHOW – playing all around the South West, expect energetic singalong bangers from this brilliant rock four-piece.
2pm – 11pm
