Join After The Storm‘s founder Verity Hart and ambassador Andy Lord for a special conversation about men’s mental health as part of Bloom: An Online Festival of Mental. You can find out more about the festival including more free, online activity here >>
This video will premiere below on Tue 11 May at 10am and then be available to watch throughout the festival.
After The Storm’s founder Verity Hart speaks to Andy Lord about the importance of giving a voice to your ‘storm’ and the power of sharing your story.
After being taught that ‘big boys don’t cry’, Andy felt the pressure to put a game face on, even when he was facing personal chaos and felt like things were snowballing out of control. Andy shares his experience of finding a way to talk about his feelings and challenging stereotypical views of male mental health.
