Rashida Jones and Bill Murray make an excellent double act in Sofia Coppla’s seventh feature, set against a back drop of an upmarket fairytale New York. A young mother reconnects with her larger-than-life playboy father on an adventure through New York.

Laura (Rashida Jones) is a young New York mother who believes she is happily married, until her husband (Marlon Wayans) starts working late with a new co-worker. Faced with sudden doubts about her marriage, Laura teams up with her larger-than-life playboy father (Bill Murray) to tail her husband.

This generation-clash comedy explores how parents and children see relationships differently and celebrates the complications that bind modern families even as they tie us in crazy knots.
