Our Christmas Special is a big dollop of poetry, comedy, live music & festive cheer. With a headline set from Henry Madd, a turn form Mrs Clause herself, and the Bard of Totnes – Julie Mullen .

Plus traditional carols from the gloriously horny Exeter Railway Band. All ho-ho-hosted by Chris White.

Henry Madd is a multi award winning poet and theatre maker who has toured across the UK, Europe, and Northern America. Some folk are hungry for the truth, Madd is generally just hungry. His poems tend to be about food or whatever he happens to be blankly staring at whilst pretending to write…

A former writer in residence with Film 4, his work has been featured on BBC Radio, the Guardian, and The Stage.

Rhys Slade-Jones (aka Bopa Rhys) is an award winning interdisciplinary artist, drag queen & Valley Gal, here to spread their legs and some Christmassy cheer.

Rhys’ work is stuffed full of fun, silliness & heart, straddling the worlds of cabaret, performance and craft. They’ve performed across the UK, are part of the queer Welsh art collective Cwm Rag, and have made work with National Theatre Wales, Chapter Cardiff, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, & The BBC

Julie Mullen is a writer, performance poet, visual artist, and the current Bard of Totnes; a heady mix of hilarity, humanity and a smidge of insanity. Julie is a part of the creative force behind Totnes Fringe, a regular host of Poets and Pints at the Barrel House, the author of “Erotic Poetry For Vegans and Vegetarians,” and an absolute Christmas cracker.
