Beardyman is a vocal shaman, Beatboxing champion and live looping pioneer who improvises cutting edge studio quality Dance music in real time with the help of his world leading, self-designed live music production system, the BEARDYTRON_5000.

Twice UK beatbox champion, real-time music-production pioneer, comedian, songwriter, voice actor and music-technology innovator, Beardyman, a name synonymous with madcap musical innovation, has etched his mark on the global music scene with his mastery of vocal manipulation. Having started beatboxing at the age of three, and writing a symphony for his school orchestra at the age of nine, the advent of YouTube saw Beardyman, aka Darren Foreman, become an internet phenomenon racking up over 50 million views on socials media.

Since then, the multi-vocalist has been headlining shows and playing festival stages and venues all over the world. Over the years he has collaborated with the likes of Groove Armada, Herbie Hancock, Tim Minchin, Peter Serafinowicz, Shaun Keavney, Daniel Sloss, Reggie Watts, Jack Black, Tom Scott and three times World DMC champion DJ JFB, to name but a few.

Beardyman penned the pivotal EDM track Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat in collaboration with Norman Cook and Calvin Harris, which reached No. 1 in multiple countries. He performed a leading spot at the BBC Proms, repeatedly sold out the largest venues at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival year after year, scored the music for multiple high profile TV ad campaigns and TV shows and voiced lead characters in multiple cartoon TV series. A regular contributor to Radio 4’s Now Show, writing and performing satirical songs, he has performed spots on multiple mainstream TV and Radio shows around the world. His TED talk about his journey creating the game-changing software solution he developed with some of the best programmers in the industry has helped inspire a generation of beatboxers and live loopers, while he has also acted as a judge in the prestigious worldwide SBX Grand Beatbox Battle.

His immersive 360 degree audio-visual piece, We Wanna Be, can be viewed at the prestigious new ITEC space in immersive Soundscape spatial audio at London’s Science Museum, and his new immersive, cinematic, concept album, Kings Without Kingdoms, with Emmy nominated cellist and composer Rob Lewis is out now.
