Whether you make film or love film, join us for must-see short films from across the globe, emerging local talent, and special events with industry professionals.

Featuring stories from close to home and reports from overseas, this powerful collection of short documentaries observe societies from across the globe and offer a frame in which to scrutinise the position we humans find ourselves.

Human Again

A first hand account of one woman’s journey from Latvia to the UK where she was forced into a agricultural slavery. After 15 years she manages to escape and is now in protection, living in a safe house in the South West run by the charity Unseen, where she is starting to rebuild her life.

A rare opportunity to hear first hand from a survivor the reality of modern day slavery in the UK.
