Handmade 2020 Diary

One Day Workshop: Sat 23 Nov

Learn the art of long-stitch bookbinding and make your very own week-view diary for the year 2020.

Bookbinder Esther Williams will take you through how to prepare, assemble and bind an A5 sized long stitch book with a faux leather cover and tie, using a simple and stylish diary layout designed by Esther.

If you’d like to use real leather feel free to bring your own piece – it needs to be at least 30 x 50cm.

You don’t need to have any bookbinding experience to do this workshop, beginners and pros are welcome.

Workshop attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Café Bar.

Esther Williams

Esther Williams is a designer and bookbinder based in Somerset.

She is the founder of Este Libro; a craft business hand- making artisan Coptic bound books and albums, (Hauser and Wirth Galleries and The British Library currently stock her work). She now teaches a variety of craft workshops including bookbinding workshops for beginners and improvers.
