An engaging, focussed and enjoyable atmosphere where you will develop ideas and increase your motivation, confidence and technical ability in writing different forms of fiction, nonfiction and poetry. You will leave inspired and equipped with the tools to keep writing.
This course is aimed at ages 14-18.

Tutors
Cameron Seymour is a writer and teacher, currently focussed on writing for the screen and stage, having previously written prose fiction and non-fiction as well as poetry. He graduated from Plymouth Marjon University (BA(hons) English Literature with Creative Writing) and is currently reading English (MA Creative Writing) at the University of Exeter. Cameron has taught a range of ages and abilities from children and young adults to experienced writers.
Nikkie Huddart is a writer, primarily of fiction and non-fiction as well as poetry. She has written two novels for young adults, one of which was shortlisted for the Mslexia Childrens Novel Prize, and is currently working on a psychological thriller for adults. She has had short stories printed in national publications, including Aesthetica, and was once selected as a favourite by guest judge Liz Lochhead. She is currently working on a blog, as well as a book, each on a yoga approach to parenting. She graduated in English Literature from UEA and gained a Masters from the University of Exeter. She has organised literary events for International Womens Day and runs a regular spoken word evening in the city.
