Before his passing at the age of 94, Fred entrusted director Dave O’Leske with nearly a century’s worth of his photos, personal journals and rare films.

More than just a climbing film, the resulting documentary spans nine decades to show the true story of a reclusive genius who defied societal norms and the need for fame to chart his own singular course in life.
