Women Like You

‘You are my worst nightmare of a wingman! You’re beautiful!’

Over the course of an unusual evening, two twenty-something women accidentally stumble into an unfiltered interrogation of what it means to be a 21st Century woman. Women Like You is not a tale of sisterhood, girl power, or solidarity. Instead, it is an unbendingly honest exposure of the competitiveness ingrained in women from childhood.

Created in 2017 by director Lucy Hirst and Playwright Katherine Stevens, Flip the Bird Theatre is a female empowerment theatre company, placing women at the centre of confrontational stories, and encouraging young women to reflect, share, and prosper through the open exploration of the complexities of female relationships.
