Artist’s Talk: Alicia Tsigarides
Contemporary artist Alicia Tsigarides (award winner in Exeter Contemporary Open 2011) will talk about work created with traditional Scagliola techniques during her recent residency at Hayles & Howes Crediton workshop. Scagliola is similar to a polished plaster technique, used since the 17th Century for producing columns, sculptures, and other architectural elements, often to resemble far more expensive marble inlays.
