Exeter Phoenix Scratch Night in collaboration with Exeter Northcott

Deadline for applications: 10am, Mon 19 Jan 2026

Exeter Phoenix Scratch Night in collaboration with Exeter Northcott offers South West based artists in need of an audience a chance to stretch their ideas and the opportunity to test their work in the Exeter Phoenix Auditorium, along with £150 to help develop their idea and a small amount of rehearsal space before the Scratch Night.

Scratch Night will take place on Mon 23 Feb 2026, 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Reclaim The Frame: Impact Producer

Deadline: 10am, Mon 17 Nov 2025

Reclaim The Frame is seeking to contract a regional freelance events producer/film marketeer in South West (covering Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol) to work with them on their mission to champion marginalised perspectives in cinema, connecting with audiences through community building events and conversation.

Contract: Freelance, fixed term (Dec 2025 - Mar 2026)
Days: up to 3 days per month, worked flexibly
Location: Remote with attendance at events in Plymouth/Exeter/Bristol required
Fee: £170 if engaged in outreach only, £500 if helping produce an event

EarthSonic LocaL

Exeter Phoenix is excited to be part of EarthSonic Local – a new project funded by Arts Council England, which brings together eight local Arts Venues and the Music Venue Trust to empower young people aged 18 - 30 to create music inspired by nature and climate action.

Recordings made by participants in the project will also contribute to EarthSonic’s Sounds Archive, an open and accessible archive of nature recordings made by scientists, nature sound recordists, indigenous communities, and others around the world.

The project is open to musicians, singers, producers, engineers, activists and lovers of nature of all abilities.

Little Scratch Night

What comes before Scratch? The itch, of course!

Little Scratch is an informal, safe and nurturing space for local creatives to not only talk through their ideas, but to connect with fellow creatives about the kind of work they want to create, on a monthly basis.

Exhibiting Opportunities

Gallery333 is a dedicated space to exhibit small, contemporary art installations. It is an intimate ‘window’ gallery space with a secure glass door situated in a busy location within the building. Dimensions are 125cm high x 74cm wide x 36cm deep.

New Band Showcase is a regular opportunity for emerging musicians to perform on the big stage at Exeter Phoenix! We are a proud supporter of new talent and accept applications to perform at future New Band Showcases on an ongoing basis. Please email us with a link to listen to your work.
