Zombie Special Effects: Become a Zombie for the Day!

One Day Session

Every wanted to become a zombie for the day? Now is your chance! In the run up to Halloween we are running a day-long session in zombie special effects including make-up and body casting to help you transform into the undead!

Create gruesome sores and bites and bloody spatters using professional on screen make-up techniques. Make a 3D copy of your very own limb by creating a temporary mould from your own foot, hand, leg or arm, this will then be filled with plaster and left to set. When the plaster has set you will be able to paint and customise your prosthetic to make it as gruesome as possible!

Great for those who love all things from beyond the grave and are interested in finding out more about behind the scenes TV & Film industry special effect techniques. This session is for those aged 13+, no previous experience required.

Please bring a packed lunch with you. All materials will be provided, however please come dressed in old clothes that you are happy to shred/rip up and get messy.

Isgard Wild is a freelance creative and workshop coordinator based in Exeter.

For the last 10 years she has been delivering a range of craft and animation based workshops for teenagers, kids and families. She has a BA in Fine Art and also works as Creative Media lecturer at Exeter College.
