WE ARE HERE is an exhibition of work by local queer, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse artists who celebrate and interrogate issues surrounding gender and sexuality in their practice. The selected artists reflect on their lived experiences and identities in several different ways, from highlighting important histories, to imagining new utopic futures. This exhibition forms part of the Come As You Are Festival (13 November 2022) which celebrates the trans, non-binary and gender-diverse communities in Devon and the South West.

ABOUT COME AS YOU ARE FESTIVAL

Come As You Are Festival will include performance, discussion, poetry, art, workshops, comedy and much more that will take over the venue for a free festival, celebrating the Trans, Non-Binary & Gender Diverse community in Devon & the South West.

Come As You Are Festival is delivered in partnership with University of Exeter’s EDI team and the Trans & Non-Binary Café Network, sponsored by The Real McCoy and Renowned Hair Salon, with additional support from Altum Media.
