In the workshop facilitator Joanne Overton-Pitts will show you how writing in many forms, can be a helpful tool for self-care – including managing stress, anxiety and depression,
Through guided exercises, Joanne aims to explore how navigating difficult emotions through getting thoughts and feelings out on paper can help to improve your mental health, by processing thoughts and feelings in an external way.
At the end of the session Joanne will share a little information about free resources available to help you explore writing, via Qwell.
The Qwell service is free and requires no formal referral. Instead, just visit www.qwell.io online to register an account on the website and gain instant access to the Qwell platform. The online counselling team are available from 12 noon to 10pm Monday to Friday and 6pm to 10pm at weekends, 365 days a year, providing a much needed out-of-hours service for emotional support in an accessible and convenient way.
Please note that Qwell has already been commissioned by One Devon in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay, so there is no cost associated with signing up to Qwell.
