Az Dorey along with Russell Dorey and Leigh Valentine will be hosting a workshop covering a variety of topics of film production drawing on their collective experience, covering; motivations, the writing process and themes, building a company, the snowball effect, corporate and charity work, company evolution and overall vision.

Aaron R Dorey attended three years at drama school to learn the skills of a professional Actor. After working in big productions for television and film he turned his attention to writing and directing his own stories. With experience ranging from SA work, walk on roles, audio department, runner, production assistant, writer and L.C.

Russell Dorey has a wealth of life experience that is now being channelled into the production company. With a knack for bringing people together, connectivity, tons of onset experience a passion for growth and self-development.

Valentine is a writer and stage host who has written novels, short stories and novellas, and has put those skills to use assisting Everything Else productions, crafting backstories, redrafting scripts and producing BTS documentaries. In his spare time, he’s a keen cosplayer, who particularly enjoys using his skills to help charities and allow children to meet their favourite characters, particularly for the charity True Butterflies.

About the workshops 

This series of workshops are open to all regardless of experience and free to attend. Whether you’ve never been involved in any kind of filmmaking or a seasoned professional, everyone is welcome. Session will cover a variety of topics with the aim to share, teach and to encourage new and existing filmmakers. The local filmmakers have a wealth of knowledge and experience that we are hoping to share for the benefit of everyone in the community.
