The Ruby Dolls are Alive

The Ruby Dolls Are Alive.

Just about. They’ve been away for a while. They’re juggling it all – the big and the banal – and now they’re back. As the world continues to get ever messier, they have plenty to say about it and say it in gorgeous four-part harmony they will! Accompanied by Benjamin Cox (Operation Mincemeat) on piano, this cabaret weaves the story of a shocking murder from the 1940s through an eclectic mix of music. The Ruby Dolls switch from medieval hymn to Britney Spears, 16th century folk to Mary Poppins with a sprinkling of Noel Coward and a dash of Beyoncé.

Expect poetry, dodgy accents and forest-core fashion.

So what are you waiting for? Take a break from your phone and come and sit in the dark with The Dolls.

“Will there be singing in the dark times? Yes, there will be singing about the dark
times” – Bertolt Brecht.
