In this exhibition, Sovay Berriman presents a new body of inter-related sculpture, installation, drawing and print that is influenced by a futuristic, modernist aesthetic. The artist references such diverse influences as 1930’s Hollywood musicals and sci-fi, cruise liner interiors and the design of social environments. The work draws out relationships and parallels between various built environments that aim to steer, or create expectations of our social behaviors within them.
