Scaffolding by Lucy Bell

WORK IN PROGRESS

Sheridan is having a bad day. Her church is closing, Adult Social Care are on her case and she can’t work out what ingredients she needs from Homebase to make a bomb. With no one else to turn to, she climbs the scaffolding around the leaking church steeple with a few questions for Whoever Is In Charge. From multi award-winning Documental Theatre, Scaffolding is an explosive show about strength, love and community.

‘An incredibly brilliant and well-drawn character’ (Molly Naylor). Stop Trying To Be Fantastic – ‘Funny and moving: an adventure’ (Tom Jackson Greaves, Theatre Royal Plymouth).

Please note that this a work in progress Edinburgh Preview performance and the actor will likely be performing with script in hand.

Content warnings: Death, grief, sex, detailed references made to bomb-making and one instance of negligence regarding looking a\er vulnerable adult. Sexual references.
