Gareth Davie

singer/songwriter based in Exeter. I have been writing and performing original high-energy pop music with Jazz, Funk and Dance influences for the last four years , and my last two single releases have been featured on BBC Introducing. I have performed with my talented band (drums, bass, guitar, vocals and additional horn section) at various venues and festivals, including the Monkey Suit ‘Suit Sessions’ and Exefest, the university music festival.

Machineries of Joy

original alt-rock/indie/psych music with a little twist of punk. Upbeat tunes with spiky guitar parts, catchy melodies and poetic lyrics. Think the Doors mixed with Fontaines DC, with a side helping of IDLES and a dash of Clash, all fermented in Graham Coxon’s underground Telecaster-shaped cauldron.
