The Employees 2010
The Employees is a series of small drawings executed on gridded business cards, which Kate Russo uses as a ready-made environment for experiments in colour and pattern. The restriction of the grid opens up an infinity of variables within it; each drawing is similar to solving a puzzle. Like a Sudoku puzzle, there are millions of solutions for the same template.
