Join Ellie and Laura from Wanderess in the wake of international women’s day for this workshop delving into and healing the inherited trauma around female intuition, sensuality, healing powers, and autonomy. From the witch wound, to the suppression and erasure of the sacred feminine, from the containment of female creativity and sexuality, to the control over women’s bodies in medicine – we will explore the enduring impact of patriarchal systems in religion, and society on the stories we tell about ourselves. Epigenetics shows us that we carry ancestral trauma in our bodies/nervous systems, and this workshop offers creative and therapeutic tools to release those inherited paBerns and rewrite your story as an individual woman, and for the collective.

Working with archetypes, theatrical storytelling, and somatic therapeutic technique we will guide you to reconnect with your inner (un)holy self, release her limiting beliefs, and unleash her power!

About the facilitators
Dr Ellie Chadwick has a PhD in Theatre Studies and is an academic and practitioner with an interest in performing arts as communal ritual for collective wellbeing and release. She has published a book with Routledge on historical storytelling and archetypal modes. Having spent several years running arts retreats in Bali, she founded the company Wanderess Ltd (www.wanderess.co.uk), which specialises in empowerment through holistic arts and wellbeing for women. Ellie is also a trainee trauma-informed somatic therapist.
Laura McNeill (www.namihealing.com) is a registered Reiki Master & Somatic Journey practitioner with a National Diploma in Care, Mindfulness Diploma & Crystal Healing Diploma. She specialises in leading Reiki Drumming Circles and one-to-one Reiki drumming healing sessions, using movement and sound techniques to release trauma. Laura is also training in Sound Healing and has a background in theatre production.
