This year its Vampires…

HELL TOR returns to Exeter Phoenix this September. Celebrating Devon’s heritage of horrors with screenings, special guests and lectures on the magical, the macabre and our connection with Vampires.

You can expect a very special ‘Ladies of Hammer horror’ Q&A and signing with Caroline Munro and Madeline Smith hosted by Jonathan Rigby alongside screenings of Hammer classics.

Kim Newman will be discussing both his Anno Dracula series and the vampire on film. Jonathan Rigby will present the history of actors who have donned the Dracula cape and Mark Norman will explore folklorist Sabine Baring-Gould and the Westcountry links to the creation of Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’.

A special 25th anniversary screening of Jake West’s ‘Razor Blade Smile’ with director Q & A will take place too. Plus much more.
