Documentary
A loving and affectionate tribute exploring Scottish filmmaker Bill Douglas and his lifelong obsession with Charlie Chaplin.
Blending archive footage, shot by Douglas in 1969 with present day interviews and excerpts from Chaplins autobiography this experimental documentary takes you on a journey between the past and the present and frames the childhood memories of Chaplin, which were heavily tied to places no longer present.
The documentary will be preceded by a screening of the Charlie Chaplin classic, Pay Day.

A hardworking bricklayer plans to blow his weeks wages on a good night out with his mates. Poor attempts to avoid waking his fearsome wife result in a night spent sleeping wife, by sleeping in the bath-tub which proves to be full of water.
