When does interest in someone become something different? When can you be sure? Marie is on a plane, flying back for something that should never have happened. As she does, she reflects on her past and whether there was anything that could have been done to save her.
Stalking is still one of the least understood crimes in Britain, with the majority of people still believing it only happens to celebrities.
This is the story of a “normal” woman who finds herself the subject of someone’s obsession and how the signs are so easily missed or misunderstood.
This Work in Progress piece looks to explore the pervasive behaviours involved with stalking and how escalation can happen, bringing about debilitating and sometimes devastating ends.
This is the first performance of this piece. To assist with its development, there will be a short Q&A/discussion session afterwards where any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
