During this 2 hour workshop you will learn the fun and versatile art of bargello embroidery. Using plastic canvas, super chunky yarn and a needle, you will create a colourful and funky pot cover. All the materials you need will be provided, including a metal pot which you will create your cover around. You can use the pot for flowers, utensils, stationary or just as an ornament!

Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery, and uses upright flat stitches to create striking patterns and motifs. It is fun, and can be used to create vivid and dynamic patterns.

Please note you will not complete the cover during the actual workshop, but you will take the pattern and all the materials you need to finish your project at home.

The workshop is perfect for beginners to bargello.

Workshops take place at Maker Mart independent gift and craft shop, located on Gandy Street.

Workshops require a minimum of two bookings to run. In the event that a workshop is cancelled you will be notified, and offered a refund.
