This workshop is an introduction to 2D cut-out animation. Using a variety of pens and thin card you’ll design and animate a Creature, Alien or Robot of you own creation. By drawing the design on thin card cutting it out to make it a 2D cut-out puppet. Then by learning the techniques of 2D cut-out animation you will be able to bring your own creation to life though the wonder of animation.

These 2 hour workshops are lots of creative fun for 6-9 year olds. Parents welcome to stay to help younger children and join in the fun.

Graham has had over 18 years experience working in the 2D children’s Television animation industry and has worked on a number of shows made by Honeycomb Animation and King Rollo Films including Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, Binka, Poppy Cat, Funky Valley and Funky Town. Both Funky shows where animated in a digital cut-out style.
