An update on events at Exeter Phoenix
With the news that restrictions will be lifting from next week, we wanted to update you on our plans for events at Exeter Phoenix.
As ever, we are putting our visitors at the centre of our decision-making, and we want to ensure that you feel reassured and comfortable when you return to attending events. Audience feedback on how we have been running socially distanced events over the past months has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have decided to keep some measures in place for now.
We will be continuing to operate at a reduced capacity for the time being. Cinema and auditorium events will remain at a maximum of 50% capacity. We will slowly increase the capacity of our classes and workshops, taking customer and tutor feedback into account.
Hand sanitising stations will remain in position throughout the venue. Our team will continue to regularly clean all areas with a particular focus on high traffic areas and touch points.
Our ventilation systems have recently been serviced in the auditorium and cinema. We will continue to keep doors and windows open to aid air flow wherever possible, so bringing an extra layer on cooler days is advised.
Staff and visitors are encouraged to continue wearing face coverings if it would make them feel more comfortable to do so.
Exeter Phoenix Café Bar is adopting a flexible approach, while maintaining a reduced capacity. We will mainly continue to offer table service to customers, while new regulations allow us to offer limited bar service tailored to each event. We will continue to ask all customers to sign in using NHS Track and Trace, all staff will continue to test regularly and mask wearing will be encouraged.
We hope these measures will help continue to make your visits to Exeter Phoenix enjoyable, comfortable and relaxed. If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
