The guys from Persian Rabbit like to call themselves a ‘modern, dark, hippy quintet’, a designation which is indeed quite accurate. Diving into the deep and twisted waters of their intimate world, this Lille-based band creates breathtaking post rock, right in between Godspeed You’s experimentation and Shannon Wright’s delicate folk rock. Thanks to their presence and original line-up (harmonium, double bass, acoustic and electric drums and guitar), their music works like a charm on stage.
‘Big and bluesy with undercurrents of something more soulful…the perfect combination of striking looks and artful hooks.’
