Making and Using Pigments: Working with colours from the landscape

Experiment with glorious mud! Use natural geological colours found in South West England to make a series of painted studies and prints. All materials provided but do bring along your own reference material if you have a particular image you want to work from.

Our Art classes can get messy, so attendees are encouraged to wear clothing suitable for painting in or bring along their own aprons.


COURSE TUTOR: JENNY MELLINGS

Artist Jenny Mellings works across a range of media including painting drawing and stop frame animation. Her work has been exhibited widely and Jenny has taught in many different educational settings and has worked with arts organisations and galleries to deliver workshops and projects (Jenny holds a Marsh Award for Excellence in Gallery Education)
