The Exeter Phoenix Camera Group is a monthly social meet-up for anyone keen on photography who has some experience, or may have been on the beginners course and would like to keep in contact with like minded enthusiasts.
Prior to joining the group, participants should be able to use the manual features of their camera, off the automatic mode. As a group you will be spending some time taking pictures together, but participants are expected to be working on their own individual projects and will be supported both technically and aesthetically by photography tutor Vanessa Miles and also fellow members.
At each session there will be different opportunities to work on technical software such as Lightroom or work with special camera techniques, such as external flash. There will also be chance to critically engage with Photography, via gallery visits, group critiques and focused discuss on the work of well-known Photographers.
Places are limited to 6 per session, and pre-booking is required. To learn about the Covid-19 safety measures we have put in place please read the following information about your visit to Exeter Phoenix >>
Group attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Café Bar.
