Daughters of Darkness (18)

Dir Harry Kumel
1971 | 100 mins | Belgium, France, West Germany
Delphine Seyrig, John Karlen, Danielle Ouimet

“An erotic nightmare of vampire lust”

A beautiful mysterious woman, who introduces herself as the Countess of Bathory, and her aide seduce a newly wed couple in a French hotel in a nightmare of violence and depravity.

Kumel’s chilling fusion of expressionist horror has made this film a cult classic and a standout of the Euro-horror scene of the 1970’s.

The film is the screening choice of special guest Jonathan Rigby and is part of a special deal with the accompanying talk. See below for details
