PROFESSIONAL TUTOR
John Wigzell is a professional graphic designer based in Exeter. Originally trained in graphic design, illustration and photography, John has 20 years experience working with creative technology. He spent a number of years coordinating a digitisation project in the British Film Institutes Stills, Posters and Designs archive and has worked as a technical specialist in a busy design studio serving the UK Government. He now works as a graphic designer and website developer, and loves to share his knowledge of typography, publishing, digital imaging with anyone wholl listen.
John is an Adobe Certified Expert.
Individual needs will be catered for where possible. This course will be taught using the latest version of Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop CC; the concepts covered are relevant to earlier versions too. Our courses are taught on Apple Mac computers; skills are directly transferable to Windows PCs. Where there are differences in the way the software works between the two systems, the tutor will point these out. A good working knowledge of Mac or PC systems is advantageous: we recommend attending our Introduction to Apple Mac course if you are new to the Apple Mac, before attending any of our digital courses.
Workshop attendees get 10% off all food and hot drinks at the Exeter Phoenix Café Bar.
